I catch dreams like wishes.

Crochet them into the image

Of the woman I hope to be.

I wear them like a cape, like my favorite

Fringe jacket. I move and dance and

Find strength in their fruition.

I close my eyes, envision the most magical

Life. One without worry, or contradiction.

One filled with love and inception.

And I’m liberated in possibility. I’m

Elevated. I’m on cloud nine. My dreams

Are mine. And they are positively beautiful.

My dream catcher spans the sky.

My infinite why. Where I can question

And fester, and dream as wide as the

Whites and blues that cushion them.

And there is no containing or

Constraining them.

I dream for me, I dream for you.
